General Course Description
First quarter will cover the first two declensions of nouns, adjectives and adverbs and the first conjugation of verbs in the active voice of the present system, including the most basic of verbs, “to be”. Second quarter will expand our knowledge of verbs to include the perfect system and the passive voice. Third quarter will ensure our complete understanding of the first and second declensions and add to that the third and most common declension. Finally, fourth quarter will review the first conjugation and move on to add the second, third and fourth conjugations of verbs as well as numbers. It is only by attaining a complete and comfortable familiarity with these aspects of Latin grammar that you will be ready to move on to Latin 2.

Thus Brock and that blonde bride of his and his blithe brother and the barrister banded together (coniuro 1) and beamed (refulgeo 2) and beckoned (innuo 3) and even banged (percutio 3 -io) their bellies and bared (aperio 4) their backsides in bluster (manner) (that’s quattuor people and the quartus activity is a bit embarrassing).
